Located in North West corner of 1st Ave @ Horne Street it has become a landmark in Mission.1st Avenue in Mission is actually Lougheed Highway West Bound, it just changes names for a few blocks as it passes through downtown. Hard to miss, this Timmies has a very good parking lot, which is a rare commodity nowadays in any downtown. The interior has a good layout, with large windows, entrance from the parking and from 1st Avenue. It is a Timmies so you have what you expect. Having several apartment buildings within walking distance it can get busy at times, but I have never experienced a very bad waiting time to place my order. I like their summer pulled pork sandwiches, it is not too sweet or spicy. Sugar free would be best for me but I have to make it myself. They used to have a very nice apple cinnamon herbal tea that they discontinued, I wish they bring it back. I find that "hot chocolate" is extremely sweet, for me impossible to drink. I am NOT diabetic nor pre-diabetic, but I just do not consume sugar, it is the "health conscious thing" and I am over 50, so calories love ME and show really fast. So my taste buds are sensitive to what others consider fine or with "normal sweetness". This Timmies is very clean, staff is efficient and friendly, it is a good place to stop for a hot beverage, there are muffins and bagels and other baked pastries if you don't care for donuts. If you are familiar with their breakfast and lunch menus you can have a meal as well. There are also ice-cold-fruit-flavored beverages that are also popular. If you are curious in the Tim Hortons general web site you can find nutritional information from each item they sell. That might be good for people with calories or cholesterol issues.
Everybody loves Tim's and their donuts with coffee. I like the chilli bowls for lunch. Get your Timmy's card out and go nuts.
This particular Timmy Ho's is so convenient that it's difficult not to love it.
While located in convenient Junction plaza, I'm not fond of the actual Tim Hortons placement: off to the furthest away, on the edge, away fr the action ie
