Red Cow Hennepin Ave - Minneapolis

I was super excited to see that they have listed a whole plant-based section in their menu! I ordered the kicherbburger, who was excellent! they also had an impossible burger and good looking appetizer. I'll go back to try more. [edit 1/2220] I had the flower buffalo wings and really enjoyed them! However, the vegan Ranch sauce has the consistency of kartoffeln kartoffeln - I plan to skip the next time.

Lunch. We could take a seat pretty fast. Shortly after it started filling up. We started with the Ahi Crisps that was the star of experience. They were so good, I could only have eaten them. Then I ordered the Bourbon Chicken. It was big and had a good taste. The husband had the Ultimate and he enjoyed it. There was a little wait for the food as there was a huge noon order that had been placed. The waiter was great, he kept us informed and our drinks full. In addition, we had a good conversation with our neighboring table. All the best for lunch and would go back.

Had a nice meal. I ordered the Ahi Tuna Crisps and the Blues CAB burger with Truffle fries. The food was very good. It was tasty with nice presentation. Portions were fair and good quality. Truffle fries were tasty and crisp. There was an incredible selection of beers and ciders as well as a full wine menu. The problem was instead of being a good value meal, with the beer and wine overpriced and the server and other servers hovering over and aggressively selling drinks, instead of a 30 dollar meal it became a $60 meal. I finished with a strawberry shake for dessert which was flavorful and great uniform texture. I would recommend the place and would suggest being very intentional what you order and make sure you know or ask pricing before ordering.

Was excited to try this place but was disappointed. There were not many tables but our service was so slow. I ordered a coffee with cream. I waited but my coffee went cold before the sugar hit the table. Had to ask and still wait for cream after that. I ordered the ahi tuna with truffle fries and a Cesar salad with chicken. Ahi tuna was ok. Honestly I don't really want to write this review because this was kind of a bad experience. Our server was just not great or present. That may have ruined the entire meal for us all. We were a party of 8 and we all agreed that we will not be returning.

Tropical bowl was surprisingly good. I say surprisingly because this is Minnesota and not a tropical island. The pig bell and avocado were too tempting for us to wait for the photo... I'm sorry the presentation is so beautiful, but we couldn't help, so this picture isn't exactly how the bowl is presented. The ultimate burger was very good...cooked on perfection and frits were crispy hot! Coupled with the Able Old Trustee camp was magnifique!
