The Human Bean - Minden

Unfortunately, I was super disappointed in the smoothie. I ordered the strawberry banana and you could barely taste any fruit. I could taste the ice lol. I didn't try any coffee but I likely won't be coming back.

On our way from Lake Tahoe, my husband and I will drive down Kingsbury Grade. We will often stop at The Human Bean in Minden. The drinks and coffee are great along with the bagels, muffins and cookies. Great coffee place!!!

They got me into trouble with my wife. I dont drink.espresso etc. But last week i stopped in an order my wifes drink.i paid drove 15miles home just to find out it wasnt what i had ordered. I called them up to complain. Not trying to pull a fast one. Its just the principal of it. They didnt answer so i got back in to the car and bought another from dutch brothers.

My wife frequents this place quite often, so I thought I would give it a try. First impression were good and the staff was quite nice. The prices are a little steep, but I'd come back.

Consistently friendly and upbeat. I usually go here before going to Starbucks. The quality is great. 4/5 stars today because of a long wait, and to give order again at the pickup window. Also, the drive-thru line for Sonic nextdoor oftentimes (regularly) blocks access to The Human Bean's entrance... feels like you're waiting on two lines.
