Denny's - Minato

Much better than Denny in the USA. Japanese/Western options. The specialties are great and with coffee or tea. Portions will not satisfy most Westerners, but they are the right sizes. It is great because it opens quite early and very few restaurants are open early in Ginza area. Only some coffee cafes are open, but have limited breakfast options compared to this Denny's. Prices are very reasonable.

Much better than Dennys in America. For the price and the chain name, the food is pretty good. Open 24hrs deems comfortable, indeed

My initial concerns about eating in an American restaurant during enjoying Tokyo were eliminated when checking the menu. Breakfast offers genuine Japanese choices. Western dishes also have a hint of Japanese flair. The prices are good and the staff is very professional and efficient. A very beautiful experience overall. It also has the advantage of being open 24 hours, so the first morning, when the jet lag has you at 4 o'clock, you can hike over and enjoy a nice meal.

About what I expected from Denny's to be honest. Stale restaurant with dated furnishings and small portion sizes that are average tasting. We ate here as it was one of our only options due to bad weather and it was fine. We left with food in our stomachs but then went and got snacks to tide us over. There are lots of smaller Japanese restaurants within walking distance that are cheaper, serve larger portions and are much tastier. The service was excellent and is about the only saving grace of the restaurant.

Great location. Just a few minutes from the Ginza department stores. Best weekend.
