Restaurant bewertenGreat place i love it large large large Everyone should try great eating great atmosphere great manager and service
I have eaten many paintings at the Maxfield’s on brown Deer/Port washington. always reliably get plenty of good food, quickly served. the same applies here in the restaurant mayfair. this was our first visit in this place. I had the breakfast combination, the egg, hash brown, speck and sausage, plus two crepes 10.99) I have extra paid to add fruits to the crepes 1.99) this came with a small glass fresh pressed orange juice, but it has disappeared from the menu. our other job was the fried steak breakfast, which came with kartoffels, two eggs, two fried steaks with gravy and two pfancakes. they get their choice, which kind of kartoffels and which kind of supplement (can have toast instead of the pancakes) the coffee was strong (which I like) and our cups were refilled after need. we also had large glasses of ice water and additional serviettes. it was a good, filling breakfast served with skill through a very competent waitress. wait, the personal wore masks. the restaurant was clean and comfortable. I've been throwing my vulture. they tasted like hotelbuffet eier; I guess they weren't fresh eggs, but the type that comes in a big pocket or pitcher. I order the next time about medium or other wise. when we arrived, the hostess spoke at her phone. she raised two fingers to us that we signaled was correct, took two menus and led us to a table all without ending or interrupting her phone call. no great first impression. these are the reasons for a 4 instead of 5 star rating. the food was good overall and we would go back to the future.
The food was good, but they were very slow. We had a movie to catch, and had to immediately ask for the check when our food came out because it took so long, and we didn't want to risk having to wait for the waiter to come back. I saw a large group get served, and the waiter couldn't remember a single person's order. One person just asked for a to-go box because it took a long time, they were fed up, and just wanted to leave.
Place was nice. Felt sorry for our waitress since we met our stepsister who we had not seen in a while. We were catching up on kids and grandkids while every once in a while looking at the menu. For me, the menu was laid out really well and I found what I wanted right away.I am on WW so The Skinny is what I ordered. This may not sound like much, but I assure you it is. I will now make your mouth water:The skinny is an omelet made with broccoli, tomatoes, mushrooms, and little bit of fried onion rolled in 2 eggs. Next came baked potato pieces and 2 slices of bacon. Then your choice of toast or pancakes. Of course I choose toast. My sister's choose eggs over med, and easy. Each getting toast but 1 choose sausage and really liked it.I ended up taking 1/2 of mine home there was so much.We really did have a sweet waitress but I don't remember her name. We stayed there longer than we should have. I can tell you the date and where we sat. It was November 29th around 10 or 10:30 and the door was blocked by a wall to go outside because we would get cold whenever someone came in or left.Management might want to think about bring the wall to the ceiling. That was the only flaw!
We had a larger party of 11 people. I wish I knew our servers name but she was fantastic. She got everybody's order correct and the food came to the table fast and hot. Food tasted great. Compliments to the chef. I will be back
