Restaurant bewertenWhat a little gem! I spent a fair amount of time in Louisiana and florida eating Cajun food. This place is legit! My wife and I got the blackened scallops appetizer and it was superb. She got the shrimp creole (shrimp and grits) and said it was the best she’s ever had. I had the zydeco plate which was gumbo, jambalaya, and red beans and rice. The gumbo had a nice pepper taste, the jambalaya was great. The rice and beans were average. We also had pecan pie and bourbon glaze bread pudding. Those were real good too. When we got there it was a 20 minute wait (fri) but well worth it. Nice attentive wait staff. Look forward to going back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

This charming establishment was buzzing with customers, and the staff was incredibly friendly. After looking at the specials, I decided on a Muffuletta and some fried Brussels sprouts. The owner, who I believe rang me up, kindly informed me that my sandwich came with fries, but I opted to skip those and have the Brussels sprouts instead. In hindsight, I do wish I had tried the fried green tomatoes. Overall, this place is a fantastic local gem! The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. **Service:** Takeout **Meal Type:** Lunch **Price per Person:** $10–20 **Food Rating:** 5 **Service Rating:** 5 **Atmosphere Rating:** 5 **Recommended Dish:** French Bread

If you’re in search of ambiance, look elsewhere! It feels like someone took a slice of New Orleans and dropped it right in Delaware. I found myself immersed in the French Quarter...
