Restaurant bewertenGreat and fast service also very polite they where so fast that we could just be in and out of the place and they where so polite that there kindness lit up my whole day 5 out of 5 stars would recommend
They made me wait for my food because I asked for what I paid for. I asked for 5 spicy chicken minis and ghost pepper wings with a poutine. They took my order and my money and then asked me to substitute for 5 mild chicken minis. I told them I would wait. Oh they made me wait, even after they gave me five mild chicken minis anyway and had my food sit for 5 minutes as they puttered around and served other people. I'll be emailing head office for this blatant disregard.
The food was cold and it might be a day old. Tables and floors were not clean and the wash room disgusting.
Stopped into the Popeye's in Milton on a Friday night after visiting the neighbouring Home Depot across the parking lot. KFC for our family is a-once-year-occasion that we don't really frequent. Rather than drive across town to grab a family meal from the KFC in Milton, we opted to try the Popeye's. I should point out that I have eaten Popeye's before and this was not mine or my families first time having it. This was however my first time in this particular location. Everyone who worked in the restaurant was south-Asian including all the customers dining in and waiting in line to place an order. I'm certain this has to do with the simple fact that it is one of the only restaurant chains that offer Halal options to their customers. Workers and the manager were very friendly and service was quick. We got the 16-piece family meal to go which comes with sixteen pieces of chicken that we got half spicy and half regular as well as 3 sides and eight buttermilk biscuits for $45 before taxes. IMHO, nothing can replace the 11 herbs and spice recipe of KFC. The colonel's bucket always evokes childhood memories of family parties or picnics and I will never betray my loyalty to that signature taste or crispy skin that many of us secretly crave! Popeye's chicken is certainly different. More batter and crispier almost to the point of cutting the inside of your mouth. The spicy is definitely spicy and not suitable for most little kids unless you were born and raised in Sri Lanka or Bangladesh or Sichuan, China eating hot Chilli peppers since you were a baby. My 3 and 5 year old children tried the spicy and did not like it at all. The sides are not the typical sides you would get at a KFC and we got fries, rice and beans. The buttermilk biscuits are amazing but you can feel your arteries clogging with every bite. Overall, the extra batter on the chicken tends to hold and retain more grease from the deep fryer and meal feels very heavy and sit in your gut like you swallowed a lead weight. A filling treat, but not a replacement for KFC and definitely something you would not be able to do everyday or even once a week. You eat this stuff and you literally want to go hit the gym or go for a jog right afterwards because you feel so bad about eating it.
Came in and ordered a family pack. Told I had to wait 20 mins. How do you not have chicken made at 3:30 in the afternoon Than they want to give me the cold fries Complete shock.
