Restaurant bewertenThe food here is expensive. With the thickness of the patty, it made sense. The burgers are huge and greasy. The onion rings are pretty good and they give a good amount. The fries were okay. The service could be better. Ordering felt like an annoyance to the employee. There was only one employee at the time and it might be the owner of the place. I had trouble understanding the Tuesday meal deal. Asking him about provided answers that didn't clear anything up. He rushed explaining it and just repeated himself, instead of trying to explain it a different way, especially for my hard-of-hearing mom. Once we settled on what we wanted to order, he let out a sigh as if annoyed by the whole interaction. The atmosphere was okay. It's a huge place with lots of seating. Once our order was ready, he seemed more friendly and helpful asking if we wanted anything else like ketchup. Once we got home, we saw that the bagging wasn't the best. The heavy burgers weighed down on the top, smushing the onion rings and fries at the bottom of the bag. The fries and rings were hard to access while we were in the car. That's such an American thing to do: eating fries while driving in the car. Everything was still very hot, so it got steamy and the fries got soggy once we got home to eat. After refrying in the air fryer, the fries got crisp again. I might just order only burgers next time.
If you 're looking for a burger joint that 's small and unassuming, with just enough room to fit a few tables and your growing appetite, then Milpitas is your spot. It 's the perfect place to indulge in a dietary cheat day, because let 's be real, who wants to eat kale when you can have a juicy inverted bun cheeseburger? Now, I know what you 're thinking: But Ask AI, isn 't Wayback better? Sure, it might have a bigger dining area and more menu options, but Milpitas is all about the quality over quantity. And let me tell you, this burger is so good that it might just make you forget about Wayback altogether (at least until your next craving hits . And don 't even get me started on the bacon. I was a little skeptical at first, but when I asked the worker about it, he assured me that it 's beef and Halal. So not only is it delicious, but it 's also guilt-free (well, sort of . The price is reasonable, and there 's plenty of parking in front of the store. Just look for the small complex behind the Chevron gas station. And if you 're lucky, they might even have two people working that day (because who doesn 't love good customer service? . If you 're in the mood for a good burger and a good laugh, Milpitas is the place to be. Just be sure to come hungry and with your sense of humor intact.
If this restaurant could be given no stars, I would. It was horrible. The worst food I have had in a very long time. The chicken was burnt and completely dried out inside. The two we ordered were the same. A warning to anyone not to go waste your money and end up having to throw it away and then get sick from what you did eat. Stay away and go somewhere else!
It was really really good, but... We ordered food for curbside delivery and they wouldn't bring it out to the car. We called the store to let them know we were out front and they just acted confused. We offered the order number, and the name on the order and called from the number that was on the order but the person who answered the phone just played the fool. After we hung up, I went inside and they didn't have everything ready to go even though they had marked it as such (which is why we called in the first place). The saving grace of this encounter was that the food was really good. All of it. I would still recommend eating here, even with the minor annoyance experienced by the staff and their inability to deliver in the manner agreed upon. I hope no one else experiences that, but even so, the food, if you've never tried eating here, will exceed your expectations.
Wayback burgers is a halal place which offers burgers, hotdogs , shakes and other chicken items. The quality and service has gone down since they opened. Recently i visited the place on saturdays and there is only guy working. He struggled to make the order as he was by himself. I was wondering why would you have one person working over the weekend. I hope owner is reading this, i have notices whenever you order the hotdog, the hotdog i received was slathered in mustard and ketchup, it happens twice but i would suggest keep it regular as i had to literally scrape it off. Please keep with quality and service or folks will stop coming. Thanks
