Family run place with toasties, focaccias and ready meals (roast chicken with potatoes and pasta). Affordable and delicious. Already after your second visit the staff will recognize you. They often treat guests with complimentary espresso. Closed in the evening, but this is typical Italian place to eat in lunch breaks.

So convenient to my hotel, Crowne Plaza Milan City, I was famished after sleeping off my jet lag... Good selection of sandwiches, freshly made for you, friendly service, good price. Sandwich was hot, toasty and tasty. Such a nice place, I decided to open a book and take my afternoon cafe here too.

I am staying at the Crowne Plaza across the street and wanted lunch. There are a few choices within a 2 minute walk but this place was busy and the food looked great. What I had was a panini with fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula, tomato and grilled zucchini. It was the BEST sandwich I have ever had and living in New Jersey and New York I have had many great ones. Words can't describe how good it was. Making it warm brought out all the great flavor and at €5.50 a steal within an expensive city. Simply amazing!
