Restaurant bewertenI had the raspberry lemon tart, cannoli, and butter croissant, and my kids and I absolutely loved everything!
The prices are too high for the quality you receive. The staff seemed annoyed by customers coming in and interrupting their time on their phones. When I requested ice water, I received only about three ice cubes. The pastry was comparable to what you'd find at Walmart, but because it was displayed in a glass case, it was overpriced. I won't be returning. If you visit Zermatt, I'd recommend bringing your own pastry from Walmart or Smith's. On a side note, I would advise against staying in Zermatt.
The service was average; it felt like the staff were just doing their job since, at the end, a mandatory 20% gratuity is added. Overall, it wasn't spectacular and certainly not what I would expect from a nice hotel. Although it's labeled as a café, it feels more like an Italian restaurant since their menu was primarily pizza, pasta, and salad. It doesn't fit my idea of a café, but if you're in a pinch and can't go elsewhere, it's not the worst option.
This is a charming little bakery. I'm pleased with the variety of options available. The prices are a bit on the high side, but there's really nowhere else like it in Midway.
They revamped their entire menu and theme since last year. There's no BBQ anymore, just a pizzeria, and unfortunately, it's not very good. I usually don't write negative reviews, but I believe I'd find better pizza at a cafeteria. I spent $60 on two pizzas and an appetizer (tip included), and I would recommend trying a different place. My kids didn't enjoy the pizza either, and it was just plain cheese. On the positive side, it still felt clean and the service was decent. It's still a nice place to stay, though.
