Restaurant bewertenI don't know what to say. Service was great, food was quick, but basically inedible. I was craving a pile of fluffy pancakes, instead I recieved a massive pile of pancakes soaked in pure corn syrup and whipping cream that was more sugar than cream. We tried to pick through the pancake pile for something dry-ish. I'm pretty sure they heavily sweetened the batter itself. I'll go buy a bag of sugar next time, it'll save the entire horrible experience.
This used to be a great place to eat, however that time has ling since passed. We punt for brunch on a Sunday at 12:30pm, after waiting for over an hour with no food we walked out. Many tables waiting and upset customers
My wife and I stopped here on Friday. We were looking for something that was different and was highly regarded. Not sure what it was likely with the previous owners, or when exactly the management changes but the food was mediocre. We waited 45 minutes to receive our two pancake orders. I've never heard of charging people $9.00 for pancakes which are generally cheap to make. Our waitress Kelley, was busy chatting up her coworkers and/or regular patrons more then she was catering to our simple needs such as more water and coffee, which I was later told that they were brewing a fresh pot. Never been a to a breakfast place where there is only one coffee pot in circulation. Other then the time we were seated and the time she finally brought our order was the only time we saw her, so her tip was minuscule as a result. My wife ordered chocolate chip pancakes and I the apple cinnamon. My wife had a few chips in the batter but most were just piled on top of fake whipped cream. My pancakes came topped with pie filling. The waitresses were not exactly rude, but were not very friendly either. I expected little from a small town greasy spoon, but I can say that I will be steering clear anytime I find myself in Midland.
Really enjoyed homemade cream of potato bacon soup today, friendly service, checking on my coffee very frequently..great experience..everyone should try it...
