Maru Sushi Grill - Midland

Maru can never impress! the mistsuppe was only worth our visit, but the crocheting tigerrolle drove us away. if they added the great service we enjoyed from our server isabella, it is hard to imagine how it might have been a better lunch.

Pretty decent food but not sure it's so good to justify the high price point. For 4 small plates it's at least 80$. The shrimp sharing plates and crouching tiger are really good- but again very overpriced.But one of my biggest sticking points is for takeout/delivery they package cold food under warm food. This is pretty unappetizing if not downright dangerous. I've worked food service for a while and this is one of the biggest nonos.

Everyone enjoyed their meals today. Great server. He was very friendly and kept asking if everything was ok or if we needed anything.

I wish I had taken more pictures, but the food was delicious and the waitress is very friendly. The food came very fast and I'd give the plating a 5 star rating alone.

The sushi is always off the charts! It was the Sat before Vday so it was slammed but the staff was super great and there was not an abnormal wait for food. The place is quite expensive but it's worth it for a good meal on a date night!
