Restaurant bewertenA short while ago we had our 4th visit to Burbie's. Unless their method of cooking meat changes, it will be our last. The first time we visited the restaurant was right when it opened. One person in my group ordered a sandwich and fries which were fine. Another ordered pizza and I ordered a burger. Everyone said their food was fine and that the fries were very good. I enjoyed my fries but my burger was so overcooked that it was dried out at the edges and all the way through the patty. I might have sent it back but there was only one person working as server and busboy and it was busy. The next two visits we ordered pizza, which was fine. On the last visit, however, I ordered a Sonoma Salad with grilled chicken on top and my friend had a burger. His burger was very dry; obviously the cooking method of the first day had not changed. My salad was fresh enough but the chicken on top was so dry I probably could have snapped the pieces in two in my hands. Every time I ate a piece of chicken, my mouth was totally dried out. And, since no one was coming to the table to offer water or even to check on us, I had to stop eating the chicken. It makes me wonder if they are taking pre-cooked meat and reheating it to save time.
Burbie's is like a superior version of Kelsey's, with a cozy community vibe and even better food. This sports bar offers a fantastic dining experience.
The pizza at Burbidge's is exceptional! The only thing that needs improvement is the red wine, but we have a solution for that.
My family and I went to this restaurant for lunch on a Sunday. The tables looked dirty, possibly from the night before. Our water glasses were also dirty, with old food or glass rimmer particles floating in the water. The food was very greasy and the wait staff were not very attentive. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience.
The food is great. I've eaten here several times and can say that the value is tremendous. Top notch chicken wings, panzo, and service.
