Restaurant bewertenWe had chosen the South Indian cuisine and enjoyed very much.
Asian Indian restaurant eating as in this land served with all its white flour, white sugar, white rice and red hot spices is my least favorite ethnic cuisine, so I am not in the best position to rate this all-vegetarian cafeteria-style restaurant. there my “complete disclosure”. After having eaten here three times in the 1990s, I had led to the conclusion that I prefer American natural vigans to Asian Indian vegetarians, so after that I have always eaten in the nearby it is only natural. but as an ion as his moniker had accepted ion too right the word natural of his name had deleted, and my evaluation of ion has passed away from disappointment. because of all its fried foods and white flour and mock meat and alcohol, it is still little left to eat or drink at ion. So, do I say why not try udupi bhavan again? and that is exactly what we did. There is no flesh here that makes a budding vegetarianism. limited to what is vegan and healthy and vegetabil-centric, usually from the curry dishes there is still much to choose. (more than with ion during the vegetable corma and the chana masala both came into identical curry sauces, the soße was not excessively spicy and so much to mean. (and don't forget, I generally don't like Indian foods while the potatos under the sorted vegetables of the corma predominated, were all these sweets, also the carrots, well. Besides, because we told him that we were vegan, knew the quiet herr who served us not to include the cow's milk-based rita with our meal. While there were no substitutes, we did not ask. if they focus on the very cheap foods, instead of on the paperboards and plastic goods and boring views from the window or look at a boring TV set, they are sure to have a pleasant and, more important, nourishing meal here. So they leave the city of middletown behind them and follow the main st south.
This place was really funny. they have this fantastic glass bottle soda and their eating is unique and delicious. the first time with Indian food and it was really good. they get so much food and they can be with the person or people they have with. eating is also really cheap. back
Fantastic restaurant with super friendly staff. I eat here regularly, including at lunch thalis. they are vegetarian instead of vegan, but are happy to ensure that all the food they get is vegan. if they are in middletown, this is probably their best place to go veggie food. cheap, and they take out too.
If there was a restaurant that was able to stand on one aspect alone, then that would be this one. The only aspect that this restaurant has going for it is the food... everything else service, decor, atmosphere, dinnerware, seating, music, ambience, paintings and anything else you can think of is lacking badly. Food is served in cheap foam plates. Cutlery is all plastic, cups are cheap plastic, tables, chairs are cheap cheap cheap. But once you look past all these, and focus on what a restaurant is really all about quality of food this comes out with a A+ grade. Food tastes authentic, prepared in a clean kitchen, with good ingredients. Add to that, a pure vegetarian restaurant, a rarity in these parts, makes this place worth visiting.
