This was beyond the worst experience I've ever had at waffle King. We seat ourselves and overhear employees cussing each other so we laugh that off and order when the server finally shows up. I ordered the t bone medium with eggs over medium which usually comes with toast and a side well I got 2 eggs over well 20 mins later and the server said your steak isn't done yet. Another 5 minutes here comes my steak well done not medium. We were never offered a refill and sides never showed up. So after we ate our food went to cash out total was $30.17 for 1 steak that was over cooked and 2 eggs w drink. I tipped $5 cause I'm nice but dang ill never go back. Over priced, horrible service, bad food. Not even drunk food worthy anymore.
We drove from Campbell County TN today to eat at the waffle king, we waited for the waiters to clean the table where we stood on the table when their family came and she put them in front of us on the table where we waited. She went away and never recognized our existence, it took everything I didn't have to create a scene, so we just went out. If she had just said that this table was reserved or even recognized our existence, it would have been good. I sent two emails about the company website without answer. So if you have problems, don't waste your time trying to mail the company that they don't disturb emailing back, which leads me to believe they don't care about their customers at all.
After we spent $100 to feed our crew, we were hunted by a member of the staff in the parking lot and accused of stealing whipped cream. You're claiming to have that on video. I have contacted the local business manager in Middlesboro, Ky, as well as companies and cannot react to my request to see the band. If someone from our party actually took the cream, I'll pay for it. So far we have been accused of being thieves and liars, but no answer to a request to see the evidence. Thanks for the quick answer to my online review. That's great. I will gladly update my review if this matter is resolved. Since this first review I was contacted by the local manager Jennifer, as well as the corporate office. After checking the band day and time of our visit, both were pretty gracious and apologetic. I found Jennifer to be professional, polite and concerned. It seems that there were a number of errors and misunderstandings that have now been resolved. Although our incident was unfortunate, these things happen and I do not wish a sick will towards the restaurant or its staff. There are few enough places to eat. I'm glad this whole thing could be solved and the accusations negated.
We have been their a few times this month. They are good at bring your food in good time . But that is it. They are very loud and every time we go they never bring us refills. We sit our empty glass at the end of the table but they never even come back to the table to see if we need anything. Sorry to be mean but that is just rude.
