Restaurant bewertenI have tried this restaurant before and their mushroom and potato dumplings were delicious, as well as the sweet cabbage dish. I have been longing for pierogies since they were a staple in my family, and the ones they serve here bring back memories of home.
I needed a semi quick lunch and was in the area and decided to give this cute shop a try. I had the pick 3 and selected Bacon Cheese, broccoli cheese, and Sausage Cheese. All were quite tasty. I also ordered a black cherry soda. It tasted home made and was deliciousOverall the atmosphere is so cute, staff friendly and tasty food. I loved the frozen section in there with the ability to grab and go. I even overheard the staff walk through the best way to prepare them at home. Overall a good experience.
I have been looking at the shop for a while finally had the time to stop in while the business was open and bought some pierogies and they are out of this world I would 10 out of 10 recommend this place to anybody
I purchased 25 sauerkraut and 25 potato and cheese pierogies plus 2 containers of cabbage and noodles this was enough for a function with 20 people attending . The cost was about 125.00. The ingredients used are inexpensive flour, butter, noodles, kraut, etc. so I knew I'd be paying for the taste. Staff at Middleburg are very friendly, patient, helpful if you have lots of questions. Also, the store has a lot of polish gifts/ fun items and is definitely worth a look even if you don't want/ need to buy foods there. I had the option of picking up items cold in Middleburg Heights or warm at their other location, which was too far for me, so I picked cold, which was fine. They went right to crockpots and heated up nicely. I thought the taste was ok- to be fair, I grew up eating these foods the way my mom made them, which was a little different. The potato and cheese pierogies seemed dry to me. There were a lot of onions! Cabbage and noodles was good. The sauerkraut they used tasted very good!! I would recommend POC but be ready to spend some .
All I can say is tjeir food is very bland. I had a pack of pierogies and stuffed cabbage...no seasoning. Not worth the 45 dollars I spent.
