We both enjoyed the Prime Rib, it was cooked for perfection. The spice of the edge can be set off with the correct amount of peppercorns? He has the sweet potatoes with broccoli? I have it with green beans and mash that all went well with the au ju. Sauce It has been well paired with a rum drink called Pain Killer!
I'm glad I picked it up. Delicious food. Great service. Can't wait to go back
Brought my friend here for her bday.. excellent Gorgonzola steak tips and love the Buffalo chicken dip and my espresso martini the best
We are regulars at Boston Tavern (2-3 times/mo) and never had a bad meal...until today. Today 's special was Reuben sliders. St Patrick 's day was 4 days ago. Need I say more? Based on previous experience, I didn 't think they would serve leftovers that old. Not only were they left overs, but they were sliced days ago left overs. The corned beef was re-heated on a griddle, which gave them a crust on both sides of the slices and sliced wat to thick for a sandwich.Trying to use up leftover that old was not the best idea. I mentioned it to our server, and she said she would let them know. That was that. My wife always orders salmon and she said today 's wasn 't great either. I don 't know if it was an off day or a new cook in the kitchen. The food is usually very good and I just hope it 's not the beginning of a downward spiral.
