1826 - Miami Beach

Unfooled! Started on the 3rd floor for Happy Hour, was treated with free champagne and enjoyed delicious cocktails made by their very vulnerable and well-trained bartenders! Great appetizer of Croquettes filled with a Chive cream and Prosciutto. Then dinner came! So romantic and intimate! Very nice dining room, but very elegant and cool at the same time! We sat at the window overlooking Collins Ave and Miami Art Deco building. Pasta The image does not do justice to the best cooked pasta with a rich sauce that bursts with onion and beef. We literally ate every bite of pasta and sauce. DUCK This was new in the menu for the night and it was not disappointed! A trio of roasted and fried duck skin, melt in the mouth, earthy and juicy goodness. One of my favorite red meat! SWITZERLAND My personal favorite of the night! The cut swordfish was the fillet mignon of seafood. Filled with peas tomatoes and a very generous part!

A true jewel in South Beach with modern decor and exquisite cuisine. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. The food sections are exactly the right European style. I recommend the Miami Beach restaurant locals and tourists who want high-quality cuisine and spend a relaxing time over the crazy beach crowds. The restaurant is on the second floor and on the third floor there is a bar area with hip music for the happy hour or late night. Great place!

Hard to describe this magical experience. It is like a tasting menu with portions of larger size and you get to choose the dishes. Each menu I had was better than the previous, different, very tempting presentations, unusual combinations of common food (like lemon in the pasta sauce, which is extraordinarily combined). The service was very, very good, very dedicated people, really do their best to guide you. The same waitress all the time, the other person brings every record. My only objection: The background music does not go with the quality of the place. It is a great, charming experience, I will do it again if I can

The food was pretty phenomenal. We all loved every bite. I definitely recommend ordering a variety of items and sharing. The portion sizes are perfect for that. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I'm so glad we got to go before high season starts you should also visit SOON!!! I am sure that reservations are going to be hard to come by this winter as word spreads at how phenomenal the food is here..

Well the experience was outstanding. Our server was very informative, and the food was excellent. Some of the courses portion are very small. I do understand gourmet food but at the same time you want to reflect the price that you charge, The server assistant still need some training, when he clear out our table he stacked all the silverware on a plate on the table then he pick up the plate. They did not have any herbal tea to choose from. Not one during the evening did not introduce the lounge upstair, I knew about it because I already been there, but as a courtesy they should have told. As a manager of a well know establish in Miami , I think 1826 is a place to reccomended to everybody that like a food experience and a romantic setting. See you Soon . Luca Papini.
