Moe's Original B Que - Metairie

This was our first time here. It did not satisfy my craving for bbq. The food is just ok. The sides were way better than the meats. Also, for a bbq place, they should serve brisket. I had never been to a bbq place that didnt serve brisket until today. The service was ok, as well. I assumed, since they had tables/chairs that we would be brought our plates so we tipped as we would for sit-in restaurant. We decided to sit outside and when our plates were done, the employeetapped on the window to get our attention instead of coming outside. I thought that was a bit unprofessional. The restrooms were disgusting. They have 2 unisex, single bathrooms. The one I went into had urine all over the seat AND on thefloor. The urine on the floor looked dried so im assuming it was there for a good while. It was definitely nasty. Would i recommend this place to anyone? Probably not unless all you are looking for are great sides. Otherwise, i would say tofind another bbq place.

I have passed this place soooooooo many times but today, July 4th, was the day you try them out. The wood was burning in the grill, and the smoke was was doing it's job was making that meat inside sooooo good! We ordered the smoke turkey platter with an addition of brisket and the smoke turkey moe boy with an addition of wings. The platter came with a side of cornbread(not too sweet) baked beans( has pork inside and a smokey, not to sweet taste), Mac-n-cheese (very creamyand baked) and the side of brisket was falling apart, literally. The sandwich plate is not a po'boy but a sandwich on a very soft, lightly sweet burger bun. It is dressed with a little BBQ sauce, pickles, lettuce but I poured the white BBQsauce which was for the wings, onto the sandwich, amazingly good. The peach cobbler was amazing, so many peaches but enough crust that it all balanced out, I could have eaten that all day. The potato salad was made with red potatoes, maymustard and chives, maybe other seasonings but I can't quite say. I was surprised it was so good because I am very hard to please when it comes to potato salad. The wings was so good , I wanted more but I had no room. It is served with aspecial white BBQ sauce that is awesome. They were not serving any seafood and or smoked chicken, the wings were added at the end of my order so I got it as a side addition which only came with 3 instead of the 8 in the full order. We gotwater and Arnold palmer to drink. Taylor at the register was so helpful and knowledgeable with suggestions for our 1st time visit. She handles the load so well to say they were very busy for the 4th July holiday. If you are ever in the moodfor BBQ, THIS PLACE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! If you are not into tangy sauce, as myself, I highly suggest you request the white sauce, won't be disappointed! I will definitely be back!!!!!

The food looks nice filling. The lady had good customer service. Small, quaint clean place. No BBQ sauce on the ribs, I didn't expect that, I'm use to BBQ sauce on ribs. My Dude enjoyed it.
