Mcalister's Deli - Metairie

So nasty. Our sandwiches and kids pizza were microwaved. At least one part of everyone?s order was incorrect. So gross. Save yourself the trip. Wish I could rate them zero stars. Years ago this place was good. No more.

Asked for the garden fresh turkey, asked to have it made on ciabatta and the cashier said it comes on ciabatta (it does not). When i received my sandwich it came on the grain bread it is supposed to, i went back to the same cashier and told her it was supposed to be on ciabatta and she said it is and i reassured her that it was not. She then rolled her eyes then asked the kitchen to have it changed. The food here is usually great, the crew is good but this one cashier has such a bad attitude and also did not know what she was talking about.

Come here at least twice a week. Sometimes they don't give the right amount of chips for nachos and half fill cheese cups to go. But dining in is always 5 stars!!! Delicious and good variety.

I asked if the salad had spinach and was told it was just a lettuce mix. My salad has >50% spinach. Updating review and scoring- the manager was very nice and personally called which he didn't have to. I appreciated how genuine he was.

Tried this place for the first time yesterday. I ordered the pick 2 steak pepper sandwich with a veggie soup. My sandwich had paper in it, the paper that you use in the back to separate the cheeses when you?re prepping. I couldn?t come back or call yesterday because it was just my lunch break. Need to pay attention to what you guys are doing, it was in my first big bite I was so confused I?m lucky I didn?t swallow it.
