Baskin-robbins - Metairie

This review is on my visit to Dunkin Donuts. Baskin-Robbins is housed in the same building. Everything was good about the location including the cleanliness, friendliness of the people and staff and the place organization. The donuts that I purchase was the trip-chocolate and chocolate glazed. The donuts tasted good but was not sure as a Krispy Kreme. I mentioned Krispy Kreme donuts because I was intentionally comparing the 2 local shops for taste. I would say that the glaze on the donut and drizzle on the trip chocolate was great but the donut needs some work.

The latest ice cream flavor: Oreo and caramel is definitely worth trying. The service at BR is good, too. The ambiance of the place was relaxed making it easy to enjoy a great dessert. I came to this location late (around 10 ish). They close the lobby at 11, but the drive thru stays opened 24 hours. I will be back to try 2 scoops of something else, soon!!

This is a Dunkin ' Donuts that also sells Baskin Robbins ice cream. Service is absolutely terrible. The drive through was very backed up and moving very slowly. When we got to the speaker, it was easy to see why. The person taking the orders just wasn 't able to get it right. We had a very simple order two standard menu iced coffees and a bagel with butter and cream cheese. It took several attempts for her to get our order right again, these were straight off the menu. Nothing weird, extra or special. We got up to the window and it still wasn 't right. Had to repeat the order several more times to her and another woman so, despite the lengthy wait in line, they didn 't start the order until we were at the pick up window. They gave us our coffees and said have a nice day . What about the bagel, because you charged us for it. So we had to wait several more minutes for them to fix the bagel, which wound up being plain with butter only. They appeared to be well staffed, so no idea what the problem was. Absolutely ridiculous. And yes, I have worked fast food and drive through.

Hit the late nite drive thru last night. They had a long line, but it moved quickly! The employees were friendly,courteous and professional. The chocolate shakes were delicious! We will definitely return for more desserts. Thank you Baskin Robbins!!

We go to BR to try some of the new flavors we see online. This location never has any. No dairy free or advertised flavors.
