Restaurant bewertenDelicious pizza and cider! Cashier for Mykes pizza is always very polite and willing to answer any questions you may have! 5 stars always all around!!Food: 5/5
This is the best pizza I've found in Phoenix by far and we have searched high and low for good pizza. It seems like good pizza is hard to find close to Tempe but our search is finally over this is our new go to place and the price is 100% worth it!
Some of the best artisanal pizza in Phoenix. Wood-fired and delicious! We added arugula to the potato and bacon pizza, and it turned out awesome! The front of the place is Cider Corps and the back is Myke's but you can sit anywhere and order from your phone. We last visited/lived in Mesa about 5 years ago and it's changed (for the better) quite a bit. This is a perfect addition to the area's culinary offerings and we can't wait to come back and visit again.
Let's start with the venue. It's in downtown Mesa. All of the signage outside is for the Cider Corps. So it's a little confusing. Cider Corps has been at the location for 6 years and invited Myke's Pizza to share the space. Myke's has been there for 4 years. The set up is similar to the Barnone in Agritopia (12 West Brewing and Fire and Brimstone). They share the same space, but have separate menus and separate point of sale systems. So you'll have to place orders separately. It's all open seating. Grab and open table, and the vibe is pretty social to share tables with other parties. Space is limited so make the best of it.We came for dinner at about 7:30pm, and when we got there Myke let us know ahead of time that pizza orders would take about an hour. I have been dying to try Myke's for so long that we were willing to wait. We did order a salad to tide us over while we waited and some drinks from Cider Corps. The salad was simple greens, lemon vinaigrette and toasted almonds.. but it was really good. The cider based Paloma from Cider Corps was excellent!!!The salad was brought out as a starter. Our pizza was ready and both were very good, I was pleasantly surprised with the Chorizo pizza. It was very good!! The salami with hot honey was also very good. It's thin neopolitan style pizza, but very filling! I can't wait to come back and try the white pizza and margherita. They served the dessert Caramel Banana Cream pie as we were finishing our pizza and that was the best banana cream pie I have ever had!! It was light fluffy, sweet but not a heavy artificial sweetness. Around 8:30pm we noticed a sign that said Myke's was sold out of pizza for the night. We were so glad we made it on time to get our order in!!Highly recommend Myke's it's a local gem! I will be back.
A little confusing since there are two businesses in there and they sort of tag team service, but the bartender was super nice and the pizza was good! You order food through your phone and pay there which if you are old and grouchy will bother you, but if you are well adjusted will be of zero consequence to you and you will have a nice time. The margherita pizza is made the correct way as well!Parking: It's around the back.
