Restaurant bewertenThe waiter provided excellent service, being attentive and friendly. However, the ribeye and tenderloin dishes were disappointing, with below average flavor and poor quality cuts of meat. On a positive note, the sides and salads were outstanding. Despite this experience, we may consider giving the restaurant another try. It's worth mentioning that we dined early and were the only patrons in the restaurant, as it was completely empty.
We found this hidden gem by chance while searching for a new dining spot. Initially unsure of what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was empty, likely due to its location in a hotel next to Cubs Stadium during the off-season. However, our experience was top-notch with delicious food and wine, and exceptional personal service from both our server and the manager. We will definitely return, and are excited for Thirsty Thursday!
The only issue I have with this restaurant is the clear glass salad plates and stemware. They both appeared quite cloudy with water marks. Additionally, the clear plates made every water spot and fingerprint very noticeable.
Legends Steak is a relatively new restaurant and the staff and kitchen is still working out all the kinks. The food was very good, with the exception of my steak and my wife's Mahi Mahi. Both were over done. (My steak was medium-well; I'd ordered medium-rare. However, both the steak and fish were so well flavored, they weren't ruined by being slightly over cooked. The appetizer, their spinich-artichoke dip, was excellent. So, too were the sides we ordered. Once they fix all the kinks, Legends Steak will be a family favorite.
Kellner was attentive and friendly and we had excellent service. Ribeye and Tenderloin were below average with mild taste and bad meat cuts. Pages and salads were excellent can try again. We ate early and were the only people in the restaurant it was completely empty.
