Restaurant bewertenI was more than disappointed dining at Annabelle's on Thanksgiving. Having enjoyed the Christmas Brunch 5 years earlier I convinced my family to skip the cooking and go to Annabelle's. The hostess walked us to a table that was not ready and quicklyrushed us back to the waiting area. The second attempt was not any better, the table cloth was disgusting, they didn't change itfrom the previous party, just wiped it down. I asked for a clean table cloth and while waiting we were handed the salt, pepperand sugar dish to hold? Our server was very nice and asked about drinks, we all got a single glass of champagne that wasincluded in the $39.99 per person rate and it was warm and tasted very cheap. Off for the buffet, the turkey was a pressed rolland sliced, same for the ham that was sitting in water getting tough. They were missing the best thing of all, the sweetpotatoes. The prime rib station was okay, but the meat was over cooked and dry. The cheese bar had a nice selection of cheeses, jumbo shrimp and a few other finger foods. The desert bar was yummy, but service on plastic plates. The bill comes and they haveadded almost 25% gratuity to my bill; for $214.00 for 4 people and 1 was my elderly mother, the experience rates only 2.5stars. This will be our LAST holiday meal at Annabelle's, I was so embarrassed that I bragged so highly of this place and themeal was less than mediocre.
My husband made reservations at Annabella's Restaurant for Thanksgiving Day and let me tell you it was just fabulous. I told the chef and manager that I would let Leisure World know. They have been under new management since May 2018. We had bookedour reservation late this year and could not be seated at McCormick Ranch or Wrigley Manson. Annabelle's was available althoughthe old reviews were not so good. We booked it anyway because it was close and available. I am so happy we did not listen tothe bad reviews We went and it was better than our past experience at McCormick Ranch and not as expensive. It was buffetstyle and had all the traditional varieties of food for Thanksgiving. The gravy and stuffing were excellent. They also had abreakfast brunch buffet and a wonderful salad bar with specialty meats, salad, and cheeses, dessert table. The buffet priceincluded free Champagne or Mimosa's upon your arrival. We would highly recommend Annabelle's with it's vintage 1950's glamourand gorgeous chandeliers. So, if you want atmosphere and fine dining it is here at Annabelle. They are also open for breakfastlunch and dinner daily with outdoor pool view patio seating. We definitely are going there again and again and it's so close. Ihope you take my recommendation and visit this restaurant so they can stay in business. We need a fine dining place close toL.W. Sally Dave Perry

Very big disappointment my fiance proposed to me here last year so this year for our anniversary we were very excited to go back as LAST year's experience was very wonderful. The food was great steak was topped with an amazing mushroom sauce no A1 was needed. This year on the other hand was extremely horrible as soon as we arrived front desk was rude. Annabel's was closed for Easter breakfast decoration set up...already a disappointment for us since we wanted to sit at the same table as last year. The price of the food went up 50% and the quality of it downgraded about just that much as well. The side options weren't as great ,and then the side I did order wasn't even available. The steak was full of fat and dry I couldn't even enjoy it ,I had to keep cutting off fat and had to bang the A1 sauce just to get anything out of it. Overall HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE definitely wouldn't recommend it.
