Restaurant bewertenThe owner is rude. Waited half an hour for soggy French toast and burnt hash browns. It wasn't even busy. A for the bacon though.
It's a cozy spot with delicious coffee, but let me start on the food because that makes it worthwhile to go to. Discovered it after a visit to another local restaurant a few times which were good, but will always go back to Espresso Etc. The etc part of the name is what you want for sure. These people make their own baked goods, their bread (which is perfection,) they roast their own turkey and beef - none of that nitrate filled garbage you buy in many big name stores, their soups are delicious and they often have vegetarian too (for my husband.) Sadly this trip, I discovered it's up for sale. Hoping the new owners will do exactly what these 2 people have done, without many changes.
This was one of the yummiest breakfasts I have had in a long time. The chef was by himself, which made service a bit slow. This was the only negative thing I could find about this restaurant. Everything that we were served was made fresh and in-house. You could tell the chef took a great deal of pride and care in his work. You could taste it with each bite. We will be eating here again the next time we come through town.
Good coffee. Good muffin (bran.) Just off the 97c 5 at Merritt. Homemade goodness! Offers sugar free as well.
