Food drinks: Went to the fancy dining room at the Baldachin Inn for dinner after a wonderful afternoon of poking around Merrickville. The waitress was welcoming, attentive, and courteous. Had an excellent coffee to start and followed up with delicious stuffed chicken and vegetable main course. Just a lovely and luxurious dining room to be in, with a great view of the blockhouse and park from where I was seated. Very pleased with my decision to go there. Highly recommended.
