Etai's Bakery Cafe 29th Ave

My first time at Etai’s and I really enjoyed it. Good selection of options. My daughter had the French dip sandwich and said it was incredible.

The food is reliably good and hearty.Counter service that automatically asks for a tip.I stopped here for a diet coke a few weeks ago and my blood sugar shot up to 140, so plot twist, not diet coke, good thing I'm not diabetic.

A few months ago I had their breakfasy buritto and it was fantastic. This last time I once again ordered the same item but with green chilli. It was good but without the green chilli it was fantastic.

Meh. For the money we paid, the pastries were tolerable at best. Would of been more satisfying stopping by the king soopers 1/2 block away.

This place HAD been a staple in our rotation. Last visit confirms why we don't go as often. Fries we literally a tiny bowl of scraps, 1/2 inch long, food took 25 minutes to come and no one was there. Came out piece by pieve with service bringing the wrong food. Toilet was broken. This place has gone down hill in every regard with the exception of staff friendliness.
