Restaurant bewertenDrinks were good and good value. Nothing on bar menu really appealed me. For an Irish named bar should have at least had potato skins. Would have hung out a little longer but band was a bit too loud for my taste.
For the price, how can you complain about the food? The food was great. I can't remember what day I went on, but it was bingo night. I was slightly annoyed by the bingo and the music playing at the same time. The service was great though. She was very nice. This is your typical bar, so don't expect upscale.
I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and a beer at this local, smoky neighborhood sports dive bar. It was quite crowded, but the service was excellent. I chose to sit at the bar and really enjoyed the atmosphere, which was surprising since it’s not typically a place known for ambiance. It had a relaxed vibe that I found appealing. I’m giving it five stars primarily because of the Reuben sandwich I had—it was genuinely one of the best I’ve ever tasted, and I’m over 55! I highly recommend coming here for that, or even just their corned beef sandwich; you won’t be disappointed.
We walked in and were immediately hit by the smell of smoke. The waitress was smoking while she told us to take a seat, so we decided to turn around and leave. It’s unacceptable to have smoking in a restaurant!
The food was great! If you’re sensitive to cigarette smoke like I am, it's definitely best to order takeout. Even just picking it up, my hair smelled terrible! I would have chosen a different place because of the smoke, but options were limited on Thanksgiving. I'm grateful that TJ Mulligans was open.
