Erling Jensen's The - Memphis

Always 5 star food, atmosphere and service. By far my favorite place to dine in Memphis. Escargot and a lobster salad. Wonderful dinner.

Probably the best meal I've had in the Memphis area with some very unique food options. Perfect place for a date night with unique offerings that you will be hard pressed to find anywhere else! Notably I'm probably going to be talking about the Buffalo Tenderloin w/ lobster Béarnaise for quite some time! I would undoubtedly be back for a special occasion in the future!!!

Very good wait team service. Hostess made a friendly welcoming visit table side. Presentation of food spot on for this rated restaurant. Unique qualities could be fine tuned for a full 5 star rating.

A bit pricey but well worth it! I had the Angus filet and it was excellent. I also ordered the strawberry souffle, which I did not enjoy

I was unfortunately underwhelmed by the food here. With all the great reviews and chef resume, I had high expectations, in line with a high end restaurant. However, for my taste, the food was bland and the flavor basic. I probably would have given the food 3 stars, but I came up one because of the very friendly, spot on service. Our server was great. The menu is creative, and for those who prefer milder flavors, this might still be a good place.
