Restaurant bewertenAs a box stop on the way from oxford to skegness for a lunch, it was so nice to eat, the place, the location, the staff. fab.
We visited the black horse last night for a meal with our 10 guests after the married. we were not yet one, and I must say that the new land lord was amazing that he was all taken up, was brilliant when three high-time cakes appeared that offer cutlery and teller. the meal was very good portions and no complaining it is so beautiful, this very beloved local pub again made to its best again well done to them all the staff chefs bar waitress and the owners, we will come back in spite of their beautiful evening after a beautiful day
Great choice of well kept real ales. Recently changed hands, it would seem, and the menu seems to have gone somewhat upmarket, I hope they haven't been a bit too ambitious as this pub built a good name for quality, good value, pub food. Time will tell but I hope they pull it off.
I took the family there when they came to visit, having been made aware the pub is under new management. The atmosphere and service were excellent and the food absolutely fabulous. All agreed the steaks were amazing. Definitely recommend the Black Horse for a meal out.
One of our old favorites has been around for several years now, having first come to our attention about 6 or 7 years ago due to some roadwork in the area. Despite a change in ownership, it remains a solid, traditional pub. We enjoyed the excellent liver and bacon, as well as the delicious beer-battered fish and chips. Everything was perfectly cooked, the portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely be returning!
