Madame Spaghetti Port Melbourne

I finally had the opportunity to visit this restaurant. The staff were fantastic and gave exceptional service. I chose salted caramel and brownie butterscotch sauce as my mix-ins. The gelato was delicious. It's disappointing to hear that they are closing down, but hopefully they will reopen again in the future.

I really enjoyed the spaghetti gelato at this restaurant! The concept is unique and there are many delicious flavors and toppings to choose from. I tried the new biscoff one with cookie dough and it was incredibly creamy - I really loved it.

Madame Spaghetti is not like your typical gelato shop. Yes, you can get your gelato scooped into a cup or a cone, but here you can also get your gelato in the form of strands of spaghetti. Hence, the name Madame Spaghetti. <br/ <br/ Currently, Biscoffee (the delicious hybrid of coffee and Biscoff) is on the menu and if you haven’t tried this, I strongly suggest that you do. The slight bitter taste of coffee, mixed with the spiced and caramelised sweetness of Biscoff, this is a dream to eat! Biscoff cookies are crumbled and scattered on top to add texture, and butterscotch sauce is drizzled over to increase the rich flavours. <br/ <br/ The waffles are made to order here, and are a much better vessel to hold the gelato comparted to a cone or cup. Freshly made waffles not only smell wonderful, but taste excellent too. Soft, fluffy and light, with crisped edges, I’m a believer that all gelato should come with such waffles.<br/ <br/ To top it all off, friendly and charming service, and the owner is happy to answer any questions you have. Even in winter, you’ll be finding me here at Madame Spaghetti!

Spaghetti gelato? Yes, it is a thing. Invented, believe it or not, in Germany. Madame Spaghetti has reinterpreted the spaghetti format for Aussie tastes, with everything made from natural ingredients on-site at the light-filled Port Melbourne gelateria. The modest menu, including vegan options, packs some great flavours, and it is fascinating to watch threads of gelati being extruded onto the plate. Super friendly service and a lovely environment to enjoy a sweet treat.

Vanilla Spaghetti Gelato: Great <br/ Service : Amazing <br/ <br/ Good quality gelato squeezed out to look like spaghetti. It was unique and fun to watch and eat. We went for classic vanilla and topped it with honeycomb and brownie pieces. We stupidly went on a very cold night but it was so worth it. The server was super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended for something sweet and different that won’t send you broke.
