Claypots Barbarossa - Melbourne

After sitting we were forgotten for the next 20 minutes without water or drinks. my partner had to fly out a member of the kitchen staff to take over our order. the clam Ham kitchen was watery, not like a typical chowder, I guess it was microwave. my partner paella was cooked in a centimeter of his life, soggy taseless hardly edible. my seafood spaghetti was the only positive was pretty good. I wouldn't come back.

Our booking was at 2.30 a.m. to lunch, so it was not particularly busy. the eating was good, we had the Sambal stingray, which saw tasty, but the Moroccan tonpot had an oil layer on the top, so that not particularly pleasant and there were also not much meeresce in it. the service was average. I think they were more focused on getting ready for the dinner layer than checking with customers etc.

I chose this restaurant on the basis of fork customer reviews and was certainly not disappointed. the customer service was 5 stars with a beautiful ambiente in the restaurant regarding the facility. eating was great with a large selection of seafood, many with a Mediterranean spin. another meal, and certainly not what we expected, but we were pleasantly surprised. will be definitiw back

Claypots is a beautiful, friendly place to eat a bite in a relaxed and welcoming environment. it is conveniently located, has a quite pleasant menu and a reasonable drink list. there was the additional use of live music in a relaxed and pleasant environment. it would be a friendly and pleasant place to catch with friends, they enjoy some nice eating in a relaxed atmosphere.

Very nice food, friendly and helpful staff and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy delicious seafood.
