Restaurant bewertenYou wouldn't think a French restaurant would have a fabulous salad but this one does. I don't eat meat but there's a great selection of other things, my favorite salad anywhere being their Quinoa one. Crunchy with roasted almonds and amazing dressing. So tasty. And the tart is spectacular. Cheese soufflé and bouilloubase pretty good too.
Pre show dinner on a Saturday night, restaurant was absolutely full and credit to the staff did not miss a beat. Could easily have been in France, view over Collins street and regent theatre. Food absolutely fantastic, duck liver pate brilliant starter and confit duck leg main awesome. Knowledgeable and friendly staff , will definitely return and highly recommended
We have been here a couple of times - atmosphere is great, food is fantastic, staff are very friendly and service is exceptional.
I rarely give five stars so perhaps the night was right for this. My coq au vin was superb and service impeccible. I made a mistake with the wine order and the waiter waived the charge and we started afresh. This is the stuff of loyalty. I was so impressed and will certainly be back and make this my regular place in town. Why not, my wife does with all her girlfriends!
We booked here on a Saturday night and as we walked in the whole restaurant walked out, this place was dinner pre-show, the second seating arrived and it filled again so no booking no seat. The food was only ok, it was old school but not at the highest level, the service was also average as we didnt have the same wait person so no rapport or connection on what was good and bad or should be tried. The place was for a mature crowd who liked the same food each visit, its a great location but only if you are mature or want a nice meal pre-show.
