Restaurant bewertenCan 't review the food because we never got to order. Walked in for a date night with my wife and were hoping to try something new. The second we walked in, the sevrver asked, but not politely to please excuse me, and pushed through. We were never asked about seating or told where to sit. Simply stated in a sign scribbled in black sharpie to seat yourself . That 's fine. We sat out on the back porch and not a single server ever came out for over 20 mins. After sweating outside, no tables inside, and no service, we decided to leave. It 's a shame we were looking forward to trying it. Sorry it didn 't work out. We were really looking forward to trying it since we have heard good things. We won 't be back. Sad part is they were not even busy. Outside seating back and front completely empty. If the can 't handle a full dining room, how do you handle a full dining room, back porch and front porch and bar? Doesn 't seem like they have their stuff together. Review is based on service not food. A simple please have a seat and I will be with you in a moment would have sufficed. Maybe you should train your servers how to serve.
This is a wonderful place to take someone for a special occasion. You have outside and inside seating. And the inside feels like an actual cottage with its fun little homestyle mugs and things hanging on the walls. The only dip in my rankings is the atmosphere because it is very small and cottage esque, they really need to pump some more AC into the building. The food is to die for. My dad and I had a reuben (pictured) and the pretzel sausage appetizer. My step mother had the salmon plate and loved it. The beer cheese has some kind of magical addictive properties that make me think about it the morning after. This isn 't a budget low price quick meal stop. Food is pricey, but for the quality, you get what you pay for. 3 folks with tip ended up being about $120. It was a great father 's day destination for me to take my family to.There 's also knowing this is a local family run business in downtown eau gallie, and shelling out a little extra to help a small business is just a good thing to do these days. Will save up my pennies and go again at some point. I highly recommend it.Dietary restrictions: This was my cheat meal. It needs to be your cheat meal with all the bread and potatoes. Definitely not diabetic friendly, but not supposed to be.They have a salad but why would you go to an Irish joint to get a chefs salad?
Came here on a whim as we drive by it every week. The wings were the typical (fantastic pub wings. Cooked to perfection! I had the roast beef, husband had the cottage pie (amazing! , and our daughter had the buffalo chicken sandwich. Everything was great! Not a single complaint on the food, service, or atmosphere. Will be back!
My husband and I had stopped in once before but just for drinks, this time we decided to have dinner along with drinks. I had the cottage pie with Guinness gravy, vegetables, mashed potatoes and cheddar cheese on top. It was very good! I had the Planters Punch with dinner and then had a Guinness as an after dinner drink! My husband got their wings with buffalo sauce. He asked for them to be extra, extra crispy and they came out perfectly! He enjoyed them! The service was great too and the atmosphere is very cozy and homey. We will definitely go back! I forgot to mention our appetizer! We had the Irish Nachos. You can't go wrong with fries covered in Harp Lager beer cheese, bacon and red onions! Very delicious!
Everything was fantastic. Service, food, beer and wine and the quaint little room we were in dining with old friends was just wonderful. Our server/bartender/host was on point making sure we had a great experience in his restaurant. Highly recommended.
