Restaurant bewertenIt?s finally open! Lunch yesterday was great so thought I?d share our experience. Menu doesn?t seem to be updated online yet. The food presentation was so pretty with tiny edible flowers. The interior has been spiffed up with some renovations, not a total renovation like I thought was happening tho. New menu is latin inspired, so far so good! I think they?re still working out the menu because it?s basically a crumpled piece of paper that looks like it was stuck out in the rain..so they haven?t printed menus yet. Maybe figuring out the final details.
Service was good, was there if necessary, but not overlaid. The food was delicious. Had a little too much vinegar taste for my tasting. The outside seats were beautiful. Bathrooms need help. The prices were somewhat steep.
The view is beautiful and the service was excellent. We had the humus as an appetizer and we ate tuna salad and a flatbread. Everything tasted fabulous! We also ordered the patacons (platinums) as one of the main dishes. The portions are huge, worth every penny.
Where should I start? With the hair in my risotto or the frozen avocado? We wanted to sit outside. Just to find out after we ate that the outside bar was open to dinner. our food wasn't hot at all. There was a hair in my risotto! confirmed that it was one of the chefs. I was looking forward to tasting the avocado and shrimp shell only and knowing that it was a frozen avocado, it was ice cold. We heard the owners love hanging there and taking the employees time. What a goodbye. Great view!
I'd give this place a B. We sat on the terrace on the north side. Unknown to me, several cartridges decided to ignite their cigarettes on the deck (there was a dedicated bar stool with ashes trying just north of the bar). As you know, the river invites a breeze to the west, where we sit. It was sick. The fish tacos were very bland. I wasn't too impressed by them. The French fries I git on the side were great. My husband has the burger. What he said was better than my tacos, but not super fantastic. My mother has the special NY stripe with tacky gnocchi. That was probably the best dish at the table. All in all, I'd probably be back, but not soon. I also wanted to point out that the narrow entrance was unpleasant. Their sprinklers were also on leaving the restaurant, cover the cars (and a mortocycle) in well water..
