Ihop - Melbourne

I asked a staff member for recommendations on breakfast and offered her two options. She suggested one that she thought was really good, but it turned out to be quite greasy. I didn't enjoy it at all. Overall, I think IHOP is decent—not great, but not the worst I've had either.

Three of us arrived at 11:30 PM and decided to have breakfast. Our food was served quickly, hot, fresh, and delicious! Our server, Margarite, was fantastic. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.

While I was waiting, another customer named Carlos came in for his pick-up order and had to wait as well. It seemed like there was only one cook in the kitchen, and I felt sorry for them. Carlos eventually got his large order and left, and I noticed the waitstaff were getting a bit anxious about my order taking so long. There wasn't much I could do but wait. Eventually, the waitress brought me my food and apologized sincerely for the delay, even mentioning that they had refunded my order because of how long I had to wait. I finally received my meal just before 1 PM. The food was fresh and I can’t complain about the quality; after all, it’s diner food, not Michelin-starred cuisine. It was unfortunate that they only had one cook on duty. However, they gave me the pancakes that no one else could get, so I'm giving them 5 stars. I really hope they find another cook to help out!

Good food. Good service. Not totally overpriced like other places.

I have been a regular ihop customer for the past 10 years. I usually go to the one at Cocoa Beach.But today, I didn't feel good about today's visit. I had some confusion about sides, for which the server asked me to talk to the manager. Pesto Omlette was uncooked, watery, and smelling, yucky raw. The coffee cup given to us was a used one with a lipstick mark on it. The server seemed very overwhelmed. I'm not sure if I would go back again.Vegetarian options: I requested them to see if they could avoid any contact with the meat items. The server said we cook everything on the same grill, and it's not possible to cook vegetarian separately.
