Smoothie Bacon Dogs - Medicine Hat

Unbelievable selection with unlimited creativity. Great hot dogs, delicious hand-cut french fries, massive selection of toppings and hot sauces. You will definitely LOVE the artwork through out the restaurant.

We went with high expectations. That was not a good idea. Our 7 year old wouldn't eat the fries, she isn't a fry fan so we figured whatever, but then she had half her tiny hot dog and ended up refusing the rest. She has never turned down a hot dog before. We threw out the smoothie because the taste of artificial coconut and pineapple was too strong. 2 out of 3 of us got ill that night.The decor is awesome. That alone is an experience. But we won't return. Food is not tasty and not worth what you pay sadly. Great concept, poor delivery.

Honestly, it's one of the few more unique concepts in Medicine Hat but I was just not impressed. I did not have a smoothie so cannot speak to that but their fries were pretty bland and soggy (we took lunch out) and their hot dogs were really no big deal. I do appreciate the toppings for the hotdogs and the concept itself is fun but I probably wouldn't go back. As well - I ordered a bacon dog and am certain there was no bacon... So that's a bit too bad there. I do feel bad not giving a great review because the staff are great and are trying to develop a unique to Medicine Hat concept. We definitely don't have enough quirky and fun restaurants to visit here. It's all very much the same so that is why Smoothie Bacon Dogs is at least worth a try - support local businesses.

It's not for everyone, personally I wasn't impressed , better off going for a Costco Hot dog, it's just as good & a lot cheaper! We did not try the smoothies so don't know about them?

Neat place. Has hot dogs fries and smoothies. Weird combo but whatever the owner was very friendly and welcoming and the food portions where huge.
