Moe's Southwest Grill - Mechanicsville

Stopped for lunch yesterday. An employee met me at the door and informed me that they only made online and mobile orders. I ordered on my mobile app and the food was fast after. Frank was very helpful and nice and made sure I took care of myself, although I was not ready to place my order on the app.

I was in Moes in Mechanicsville, Virginia for a Virginia State Fair Ticket Giveaway, but I never ate there. Today I used my free birthday Burrito. I have steak, salad, cheese, pepper and sour cream. You also set up chips for free. I would have bought sauce if I had noticed, but I was during the day and didn't know I got free chips until I opened the bag at home. The Burrito was excellent. The chips also tasted fresh and delightful without a diving sauce. Not much salt. Just the right amount. I'll come back.

We love Moes! Friendly and friendly staff. I will say that the possibility to get different salsas, a downer since Covid. They offer a red or green salsa, but no other choice regarding how sharp. Still would recommend a large Burrito or Burrito bowl.

This restaurant has completely turned around for the better now that a group of guys from India took over. They do a great job with attention to detail and serving up good fresh ingredients! My review is 5 stars for excellence!

This place was good years ago. Since the reopening it's not the same. The floor is dirty, the bathroom sinks look like they rarely get cleaned, the booths are cracked, and the overall cleanliness is not what you normally experience at Moe's. The staff was flat. There was one party of 2 when I walked in with no one in line and it was peak lunch, that should tell you something. I probably won't return anytime soon.
