Bright Penny Brewing - Mebane

Jordan made this experience particularly pleasant. Love the feeling of this place. It's a great place for a family dinner or a few nights out. Right in downtown Mebane, this place is a must. And we're going to visit again.

Went here Friday afternoon. The have a good selection of a variety of styles of beer. The beers I tried were good, nothing great but nothing terrible either. The pretzel we got was good. Sat at the bar. Service could have been better, not sure if it is due to a lack of help or what.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Great atmosphere with groovy music, lots of TVs, and plenty of outdoor seating. Definitely a cool place to hangout. The beer is good, but a little on the pricier side although that seems to be the norm at places like this. I had the island time cider which was amazing and the June bug porter which was middle of the road. The pizza is also just fine. The flavor was good, but too much cheese had the pizza very greasy and the crust was very flimsy and wet.

I was able to samples several of their beers and there’s wasn’t one I did not like. My favorite was the Fog Watch IPA. The pizzas are also very good! The customer service is excellent! Can’t wait to come back!

Visited Bright Penny on 9.10.2022. What a great place! Awesome bartenders who will take care of you and are patient while you taste test. Food was delish (eggs and pizza)! Live band and NO cover. Only thing missing is a dance floor or area to dance. Outside seating. Oh, did I forget about the BEER, well worth every Penny I paid. The place gets busy....but TOTALLY worth any wait!
