Suzie's Place - Meaford

The food is consistently delicious, very fulfilling, and reasonably priced.

I stopped by Susie's for breakfast during my stay in Meaford. The menu had a nice variety and the portions were quite large. The server was very friendly and made us feel right at home. We were warmly welcomed.

We discovered this restaurant during a short road trip and we are so happy we did. The locals seem to frequent this place and are friendly, as is the staff. The menu is extensive and I was intrigued to see "fried mash" on it for the first time. I had to try it along with a chicken melt. The food was amazing, some of the best I have ever had in a small cafe. The chicken was thick and tender, served on an open-faced garlic bun with mayo, lettuce, tomato, and a generous amount of melted cheese. Delicious! The fried mash was equally delicious. My husband ordered a hot turkey with mash and was equally impressed. We returned on our way back and had the same dishes again. It was consistently great and affordable. We love it. They open at 5:30 am and close at 2:30 pm.

I have had 2 good breakfast here with family since moving to town. The service was fairly quick even though it was busy. and we had the same server both times and she was very friendly. I an sure I will go back again.

Not everyone likes liver, but if you do, this is a particularly good place to order it. Portions are generous and staff will package your meal to take out if you need.
