Restaurant bewertenThe restaurant shows promise and is making an effort, but they could use some assistance and their prices are too high. I waited a long time for my expensive $50 pancakes and French toast meal for two people. I still left a tip, bringing the total to over $50, and they also added their own service fee. I wasn't impressed and don't plan on returning.
I recently tried this restaurant and found the fish to be delicious. However, the grits were overly salty and peppery, making it seem more like a dish priced at $8.99-10.99. I ended up paying $15.95 plus tax, totaling $17.23, which I felt was not worth the price.
This restaurant was a pleasant surprise on our trip from Atlanta to Tampa. Vegan and breakfast options are limited on this route, but A Cup of Comfort offers two fantastic vegan options on their menu. We tried the Tofu Scramble and it was one of the best I've ever had, perfectly seasoned. The potatoes were also delicious, needing no addition of ketchup. Despite being a small diner, the attention to detail was evident and the atmosphere was clean and welcoming. The service was friendly and prompt, even at 7am. This place is a must-visit for vegan travelers, but there are also options for omnivores. Our bill for two scrambles, coffee, and orange juice came to a reasonable $40 including tip. Highly recommended!
This restaurant was a lifesaver on my trip from Atlanta to Tampa. There aren't many vegan options along this route, especially for breakfast. A Cup of Comfort may only have two vegan options on their menu, but they are fantastic. We tried the Tofu scramble and it was one of the best I've ever had, perfectly seasoned. The potatoes were also delicious, they didn't even need ketchup. Despite being a small diner, you could tell that they put a lot of love and care into their food. The place was surprisingly clean, the food was well presented, the service was friendly and prompt (even at 7 a.m.), and the meal was tasty. This is a must-stop for vegan travelers, but they also have plenty of options for omnivores. Our meal of two scrambles, coffee, and orange juice came to a reasonable price of $40, including tip. Highly recommended!
We ordered avocado toast with cooked chickpeas and scrambled tofu with potatoes. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the food looked and tasted amazing.
