Restaurant bewertenGreat restaurant! lost from various options and all are good, fantastic atmosphere, good food quality, to foot from the picturesquecon/beach.
I can't claim that we have tried every sushi restaurant in maz, but from the many we have tried, this is definitiw near the tip of the lists regarding the quality of food. it is not super fantasies regarding bells and whistles (the more...and it would begin to become sticky anyway) but the taste is definitely visible. they have a restaurant in the old town and one near the aquarium. both do the same standard of food, but we found the service in the old town to be somewhat better. so or so, they both expect to be busy at peak times and for good reason.
Oh my god, first the manager was extremely rude, I opened the door to the wrong wise and she made a great note and kept talking about it further when she went to our table (no sign to see at all) we. had gone there six months ago and it was really good, then after this visit we know that we never shocked again, my roll tasted like it burned and up at the manager never stopped looking at us all the time strange and she came and tipped on my shoulder to say twice about the door what I was rolling my eyes and said, please touch them not and about them. to what I wanted instantly run away and have something peaceful, good heart, what an experience!
We have spent a lot of time in mazatlan for 10 years, but are originally from new york, where we have lived for the large part of our lives. when we were in ny we were members of nyss (new york sushi society) and had eaten sushi . (compare to sessions.) when we first visited mazatlan, we only thought that we would find a very good sushi (because of its ocean location;) but instead we are disappointed again and again. Last night, when we were in the mahi sushi bar at her place in the plaza lomas, which was just a little north of, and on the same side of the road as, hsbc, I am pleased to say that we were not disappointed. frankly, the fact is that we have never found sushi anywhere in the world, which was as good as what we have experienced in new york, so I will not say that this was the best sushi we have ever eaten. nevertheless it was very good and some creative sushi. it was a pleasure to see that the menu no cream cheese fixation (like the menus in many of the other sushi restaurants here in mazatlan.) I was a little surprised at the cost of rolling. but I was impressed by their size and combined with the current exchange rates, the cost of eating at mahi was reasonable. they will not find high-end sushi in mahi. I came here a few years ago in mazatlan about uni, but they are not at mahi. the sushi offerings were the basic salt, tuna, fake crab and shrimp. some of the rolls had fruits that were certainly different. the beer was very reasonable (at 10 pesos for a bottle;) and the lower cold jasmin tee was excellent. bottom line: I think they will have a nice meal in mahi sushi; the four people in our dinner party enjoyed everyone.
