Somi Sushi - Matthews

A great experience every time. Everyone we take here loves it just like us. Listen to me - depending on the location, something sushi can mix up and taste the same and need a lot of sauce, but not here. Every role has clear, delicious taste-no sauce required. It says a lot. The staff is friendly. Definitely recommend. Some of our favorite roles are the Somi Role, 007 Role, and the Plantation Role

Straight ahead... the best sushi I ever had in the Charlotte area. I tried 4 reels, all were amazing! You can't go wrong with this restaurant, we will definitely come again highly recommended!!

I was so surprised how fresh her sashimi was!!! We ordered the Sashimi Sushi Combo and some university. The tuna sashimi was really fresh, it literally melted in my mouth. Uni was sweet and fresh. You have half the bottles of wine on Thursday. Definitely come back to have Sashimi again!

This place is not terrible. It's okay if you're in a hurry and you need to have sushi, but NO WAY this place should be a better rating than New Zealand Cafe that just 10 minutes away. The New Zealand Cafe is the best sushi place in the Charlotte region, NC/ SC. If someone gives this place 5 stars then they would give New Zealand Cafe 10 stars when they take the time to visit. If you go to New Zealand Café and you like Tuma, order the Red Dragon Roll 'll thank me later.

We?ve eaten here several times and have enjoyed everything. Tonight I had the premium chirashi platter, which had the chef?s selection of sashimi over sushi rice. My wife had the sushi platter. Everything is fresh tasting and delicious. They also offer a range of noodle dishes and bento boxes.
