Pizza Hut Express - Matthews

Food was good, but no buffet, no tea, and it was cold in there. I can see doing away with the buffet because of food cost now a days, but to not carry tea????

Another reviewer described this place as a hit or miss . My experience with this store has been a complete miss. The first time I ordered, it was from the website. The store manager called me and said they had no drivers. Apparently their site is incorrect stating delivery was available. It 's almost 2020 and they don 't tie their clock in system with the website driver availability... I use to work for Pizza Hut when I was in high school and that store had cross trained employees so an available manager, cook, or waiter would deliver when short of drivers.

Pizza was good but they told us they couldn't deliver to us and we're only 6 minutes away. We ended up having to pick it up, but overall the food was good.

Updated at the bottom.. Waited 25 minutes to go pick up my pizza after ordering it and got there and told the girl my name and she followed that by yelling back to the back to fix and put my pizza in the oven?? Really, so there was another customer waiting on her order and I saw her pizza when they cut it and the crust looked gummy still so I told her to check it. She checked her first box which was cheese bread and it hadn 't been cut so she asked if it could be cut and the girl told her NO we don 't cut cheese bread and asked if they could finish correct her pizza by putting it back in for a couple minutes and the employee raised her voice and was yelling at her so the customer just told her to give her money back and she left. When I got home I called to speak with the manager and the same girl said there wasn 't one there today so I asked for her name and she REFUSED to give it to me and said she and 1cook was there so I asked to speak with the cook and she didn 't put me on hold and yelled back does any of you guys want to talk to this Man, not Customer but this Man he got on the phone and was helpful learning the mgr was out on a delivery and he gave me both managers names. This was at 6:30 on a Sunday, knowing they were going to be busy with football and all so I called back at 9:00 and she informed me that the manager had left for the night yes this would be the same manager that was off today. I 'll Never go there again. But I will be going by on Monday to meet the Ghost Manager and let her know what kind of service me and the customer in front of me received from Jacole. Just an update on this Pizza Hut location, It 's under new Mgt. and tried them again and Nikki the new manager is a great and well needed upgrade to the past GM. Friendly and very Customer Oriented we will most defiantly be going back now.
