Restaurante Mediterraneus

The waiter crew are very attempted, nice place with nice choices for dishes. The view of roof is pretty good, in my time had some acoustic sound too.

Of the 3 days spent at Praia do Forte, we had lunch here on two of them. The food is simply FANTASTIC. Preparation is impeccable, presentation as well, but the taste is out of this world! We ate a moqueca for one (which served two grown women with ease) which was simply delicious. I cannot emphasise how GOOD this dish was. The children had some fish and vegetables from the kids menu, and had a feast as well. A plus for this restaurant is that they have a playing area for children, which is incredibly helpful for parents. They also have a baby changing table and at least one high chair. It's located on the varanda of a building, so you can see the coming and froing of the people without being directly onto the street. Staff were extremely nice and accommodated all of our requests (especially to make potate puree for the children), albeit a bit on the slow side. Come early if you want to choose your place and sit by the playing area. I will come back to Mediterraneus again and again, definitely, every time I'm in Praia do Forte!

Average foods at a little more than average price. Lunch here. I'm not accusing the restaurant. . Sunday afternoon and Praia do Forte have hammered, as absolutely tamed. The restaurants don't have to try. What it is...short of is a first-class restaurant, they could charge and get OTT prices. .

Mediterranius Restaurant is located in the centre of the Vila of Praia do Forte. The restaurant is quite small, but vey cozy. We ordered the beef with Brie cheese, which was very well served for two people, and not expensive compared to other restaurants... in the region. The service was definitely a highlight! Extremely friendly and helpful staff that even offered me something repulsive after I noticed some mosquitoes around me. I recommend a visit!
