Restaurant bewertenAnyone who appreciates a unique restaurant with a very special, friendly atmosphere will love this place. The food is definitely a step above and the Reuben sandwich is out of this world. I have been several times and as always found it to be a delightful place. An added bonus was finding a special Christmas gift for my hard-to-buy-for granddaughter. If you love a quiet, quaint place to enjoy a wonderful meal, this is the place! There are no televisions and it has been a pleasure to enjoy eating and being able to engage in conversation with your companions, you will love this place.
Never disappointing. Consistently excellent food with a great lunch menu. If you like German food, you owe it to yourself to come check this place out.
This unassuming place is well worth a visit. I had the Königsberger Klopse (a meatball dish) and my wife had the Currywurst. We both got sauerkraut and a salad, which were great. My meal came with mash potatoes and hers with fries. The mash potatoes went well with the gravy they put on the meatballs. We also ordered ice cream for dessert. It is creamy vanilla ice cream with dark german chocolate sauce, not thick like you might expect but definitely rich. Definitely want to make another trip to try another dish or two.
I come here very often to eat at this gem of a restaurant. It is very unique in a great way, as in it's environment and charm are unlike other restaurants. The staff here are really awesome. If you ever get the chance to meet the owner while dining in here, he's a very nice person to talk with in English or in German. The best for last with this review is that this food is absolutely delicious! Give this place a try for yourself and see how great of a gem this restaurant truly is.
Their Käsespätzle is to die for. Delicious warm potato salad, and their salad was colorful and delicious. Mary, our waitress, was enthusiastic and engaging. I can't wait to go back to try their dessert!
