Restaurant bewertenAlright. So we was on this side of town and wanted something quick before we headed back to destin. We went in, using the last reviews as reference we was a bit curious how our trip would go. It did take a bit for us to get our drink order BUT We only seen one waiter the whole time. Finally got our waters, luckily first thing we wanted and asked for was oysters, yup, none available. Wait... out of oysters? Yes they was. We got up and left.,
NEVER go to this Shrimp Basket. The portions are entirely too small for the prices they charge. Fries were dry and horribly stale... No other words are necessary. These photos of two entrees plus a side of catfish speaks for itself. You have been warned.
Great food and the manager was wonderful. Everything was put together well and the waitress was very polite. Would definitely come back again. Left the same review on google as well but my sentiments are the same.
The Fort Walton Beach Shrimp Basket location is no longer open. It has permanently closed. The Destin one, as well as Navarre, remain open.
We were staying in Destin, but decided to drive out to Shrimp Basket's Fort Walton location because they have 37 cent raw oysters on the half shell every Tuesday! Ends up being less than $5 for a dozen! Such a good deal!! They actually have pretty good specials every day. We ate in the outside dining area. It has misting fans all around, which I thought was a nice touch. Besides oysters, we also ordered the shrimp etouffe and fried corn fritters. The oysters were good! Everything else was fine, but didn't impress me enough for me to order it again in the future. It's definitely worth it to find out what the daily specials are at both their Destin FWB locations since they differ.
