Some like it hot! I don't particularly. But If you do it can get pretty hot here.Food wiseReally loved the popular sticky rice! Delicious.
First time I've ever eaten Lao foodAmazing. Cheap and friendly, these guys are competing in a strong Viet area and they come out in front.
We decided to try Loa food for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised. There were many new flavors for us to enjoy and all of the dishes were delicious. The barramundi cooked in banana leaf was excellent and the crispy rice was a pleasant surprise that shouldn't be missed. The papaya salad was very spicy, despite us choosing the mildest option as recommended, but it was still great. We washed everything down with Lao beer and the service was attentive and friendly. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience.
I discovered this restaurant on TripAdvisor and was impressed by the reviews. This is a fantastic little gem. The food was incredibly delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The crispy quail and well-balanced, fresh papaya salad were standout dishes. We also tried a salad wrapped in lettuce leaves that was excellent. The calamari was tender and served with a delicious dipping sauce. The waiter, who was the son of the Lao cook, was friendly and helped us make our selections. He was a lovely young man. Located near the airport hotels, I will definitely be returning when I am in the area again.
