Cilantro Thai Kitchen - Maroondah

We just love Cilantro. The food is superb, the in house dining is efficient and friendly. On this occasion we picked up take-awat and it was as good as always. Look forward to going back.

I booked for an early dinner with my daughter before a show. I hadn’t been there before, but I will be going again. The food was great, the service was also really good and friendly. The Chef came out to explain the special. The presentation was lovely. I really wish this restaurant was closer to my home, because they also do takeaway.

We were planning on going to another place a few doors down but it was closed so we ended up here. There was only one couple in there so that's always a concern. As a result the service was prompt albeit a little harsh but OK. The food came out fast and was very well presented and it was good. Absolutely no complaints on anything. I would recommend giving it a go and you won't be disappointed. It's not the best around but certainly a long way from the worst. It was excellent value for money. with the four of us having heaps to eat for $100. Great value! Thumbs up!

Ordered via Menulog. Delivered very quickly, still nice and hot. Coconut prawns, satay chicken skewers for entrees. The prawns themselves were cooked through and not overcooked, but the coating was thick and close to the prawn was uncooked. I love satay chicken but the chicken was at least 50% skin and fat, the sauce hugely disappointing. Hubby reported his mains as ok but undercooked veg (and he likes his veggies crunchy! Overall very disappointing, will not be eating from here again in any hurry.
