If you are looking for tasty, home made roman food this is the place to come. Nella in the kitchen and husband Mario cooking the meat on the grill are an unbeatable pair. My favourite is the traditional homemade fettuccine with tomato and basil sauce but all the pastas are delicious. For seconds take a pick between Nella's cooked dishes like the involtini or Mario's steaks and more. You can't go wrong whatever you choose! Thursdays don't miss out on the gnocchi! And Tiramisu to finish off! Very reasonable prices too and son Alessandro's service is the best. Closed on Sundays but open on Mondays when many places are shut. Good for all couples, friends, families.

My favorite restaurant in Italy since I first tasted Nella's carciofi alla romana (Roman style artichokes, and their famous tortellini alla zozzona (sausage, cheek bacon, peas mushrooms in light cream sauce). Mario makes magic happen to meat over live coals.
